George spent 25 years teaching information technology (IT) courses at the University of Southern California, University of Michigan and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Courses included artificial intelligence, research methods and IT management. He taught undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students in face-to-face, online and hybrid learning modes and has been a director of MS degree programs. He has published research on computer supported decision-making, learning and collaboration in virtual worlds, and information systems design. Over the years he has chaired several international research conferences in Europe and the United States. Before his academic career he spent eight years in industry as an operations research analyst and manager of IT.
