Michael Hennon is the CEO of The Payroll Department, a local independent payroll HR services company serving 900 clients in the Four Corners region. Before joining The Payroll Department, Michael was Vice President of Operations and Client Experience at First Republic Bank. Prior to banking, Michael was VP of Marketing at Berkeley Executive Education. Michael has taught programs on Innovation and Strategy in the Berkeley Haas MBA program. Michael worked for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Deloitte Consulting, Booz Allen Hamilton, and was a youth sailing coach. Michael has an MBA from Berkeley Haas, an M.A. in Economics from University of Denver, and a B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College. Michael brings a history of serving clients form his time as a consultant at Deloitte and Booz Allen. Michael is passionate about building high value partnerships that help local small businesses succeed and thrive. Michael was born in Norway, grew up in Africa, and is excited to call Durango home.
